Two 4 Tuesday: Introducing Smooch Spritz!

Two for Tuesday features 2 projects that are similar in either color, theme, layout or embellishment but... with a different twist!

Hi everyone,

Today's projects were inspired by two things: 1) a need for 2 gift bags and 2) new upcoming Stampin' Up! products -- a new Décor Stencil and the Smooch Spritz (both available on May 1st in the Summer Mini Catalogue).

Both bags are recycled -- this one is from my local drugstore and I thought the damask pattern on each side would be a perfect fit for the Mostly Vintage Décor Stencil.

I sponged some ink over the stencil with Bashful Blue and Chocolate Chip and added a flower from the Pretties Kit in the center.

Kind of the same thing for the 2nd bag, except that I've used die-cuts from a retired Simply Scrappin' kit to decorate the bag.

Where do the new Smooch Spritz come into play? Here on this flower sprayed with Log Cabin:

and on this other flower (Gold Glow):

I wish you could see the flowers in real life. They really do shine. I still have a bit of experimenting to do with the Smooch Spritz but all I can tell you is that the colors and the shimmer are vibrant!

So 2 gift bags - 2 different looks created for an immediate need. They won't collect dust for long as they are going out to friends this week. Gotta love that!

Have nice stampin' day! CeeCee

Oh, wow! Those flowers turned out beautifully! I'll have to remember to try that trick next time I create something!
