Sparkly Fun Friday -- Kraft with markers

Sparkly Fun Fridays features a sparkly or glittery project using shimmer paints, embossing powders, glitters, rhinestones... anything shiny to welcome the weekend in a fun way!!!

Hi everyone,
I wanted to try this technique since I saw what Catherine did here, coloring with Stampin' Up! markers on kraft paper. And I have just one word : AMAZING, I'm sooooooooooo in love with this technique it's almost magic. As I was looking for the perfect image to color, I happen to stumble in my "Christmas section" on this stamp that I had never used from the last mini...
I took off the "to: from: " and used a sentiment from sale-a-bration, happy birthday, just switched , red for taken with teal, and I just got a new stamp, yeah!!

Whenever I do a lot of coloring on an image, I like to keep the card quite simple, so that the focus stays on my hard work !!

I simply used creamy caramel and close to cocoa, tempting turquoise and taken with teal, certainely celery with old olive. Then I simply added some highlights with a white gel pen.

Since I needed one, I turned this card into a gift card format.

Have a nice stampin' weekend
Gen

This card is so awesome! I'm such a sucker for the turquoise-green combo, and I love coloring on kraft! The little touch of glitter is just perfect to finish it off :)
