Two for Tuesday features 2 projects that are similar in either color, theme, layout or embellishment but... with a different twist!
Hi everyone,
I was asked to make 2 cards for a gentleman who's turning 21 and who's having a casino-themed birthday party. I don't own any stamp set related to gambling but I remember having bought the Stampin' Up!'s DSP Sample from last year's catalogue. The samples are 3 X 3 and prefect for a card -- the Jackpot paper would be perfect for the cards!
They're both pretty simple with minimal stamping (it happens sometimes!).
The chipboard letters and numbers were inked with Real Red and Basic Black and the "21" was coated with Crystal Effects.
I love how the ink made the chipboard letters look like they're made of suede.
The 2nd card has 3 faux-chipboard pieces made with several layers of Basic Black cardstock, Jackpot DSP and 1" Circle Punch.
Some stitching and lines done with a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker for added details. Very masculine!
(all by Stampin' Up!, except where indicated otherwise)
Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Wishes (sentiment)
Inks: Real Red Craft, Basic Black Classic
Cardstock: Basic Black, Real Red, So Saffron, Jackpot DSP (retired)
Punches: 1" Circle, Arrows (retired), Corner Rounder
Other: Uni-Ball White Gel Pen, Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Chipboard alphabet (non-SU), SNAIL Adhesive, Tombow Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue

Great ideas! TFS!
I love this paper pack and I have used it way more than I thought I would when I first purchased it. I really like how your two cards turned out - perfect for a 21st birthday!
TFS!
