Sparkly Fun Fridays features a sparkly or glittery project using shimmer paints, embossing powders, glitters, rhinestones... anything shiny to welcome the weekend in a fun way!!!
Hi everyone,
Today is a happy day indeed! We've got our new design up on our blog and we really like it. To celebrate our new image, I decided to taylor my card around our new design.
I really like the color combo we chose; these colors are favorites of Gen and I. To mimick the font from our banner, I used a retired alpha stamp set and embossed the letters with White Detail EP. Then I cut around the letters.
I loooooooove these new Glitter Brads from the Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Mini Catalogue. I simply opened the prongs on the back of each brad and slipped them through the button holes. Easy as pie!
(all from Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted)
Stamp Set: Jumbo Outline Alphabet
Inks: VersaMark
Cardstock: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive and Brights Patterns DSP Stack
Punches: Two-Step Bird Extra-Large and Corner Rounder
Other: Detail White Embossing Powder, Uni-Ball White Gel Pen, Brights Glimmer Brads, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, SNAIL Adhesive, 2-Way Glue Pen

Belle carte qui est parfaitement assortie à votre blog, la question qui me vient est: which came first? The blog design or the card?!! Beau travail encore une fois
hehe, Marie-Claude, that's quite funny. But I can assure you that the card was done after the blog overhaul.
Merci pour les beaux compliments!
Love those glimmer brads for the button center---too cute!
What a happy card indeed! Love the blog header and love the matching card :) The sparkly brads in the buttons are a really nice touch :D
