Sparkly Fun Friday and How I Organize my Christmas Stamps!

Sparkly Fun Fridays features a sparkly or glittery project using shimmer paints, embossing powders, glitters, rhinestones... anything shiny to welcome the weekend in a fun way!!!

Hi everyone,

As for most of you, Christmas is a very important holiday and my stamp collection for this special season is quite large. It's actually humongous -- ginormous! I'm in the process of cataloguing all of my stamps and stamp sets and it became apparent to me that my Christmas stamps would have to have its own binder. So, using CALC's new tutorial (my little book of stamps) I replicated the book but decorated "à la Noël"!

Can you say glitter?! Check it out! We've got glitter on that yummy paper from  Stampin' Up!'s Candy Cane Specialty DSP...

... glitter on the snowflake, glazed with some Crystal Effects, and Basic Rhinestones Jewels in the center of them.

I just started stamping my Christmas sets, as shown above. This is the 1st page in the Stampin' Up! section. Each set is identified by its title and product number. If it were retired, I would have an "R" next to the product number.

The above photo shows you the sentiments section of my book where I've also stamped the 2 sentiments from "A Cute Christmas". Therefore, when you look at my index at the beginning of the book, it looks like this:

I've inserted 8 Index Pages (template is supplied when you buy this tutorial) where I've divided the letters of the alphabet as follows: A-C, D-F, G-I, J-L, M-O, P-R, S-U, and V-Z. Each section is "lettered" from A to E and each page of the sections are numbered. So by looking at this index page, you'll notice that the same stamp set is referenced in the "Stampin' Up!" section at A-1 and as well as in the "Sentiments" section, page E-1 because the stamp set contains both images and quotes.

I really like my Little Book of Christmas Stamps and I I can't wait to finish cataloguing all my stamps. It'll make my life so much easier because I'll have a visual of all my images and sentiments in one flip of a small book, thus saving me a considerable amount of time! No more sifting through all my boxes to find the perfect image or the entire catalogue. Plus, it's small enough to bring with me when I got shopping for supplies... let's face, we all do it!

Ah yes, it's feels good to be organized :-)
