Whatever Challenge Wednesday - Color Throwdown #81

Whatever Challenge Wednesdays features a challenge from the blogosphere, chosen randomly. Here's our pick for this week:

Happy Wednesday everyone,

Today, we're playing with the Color Throwdown Challenge #81. The challenge? To use these following colors:
As weird as it sounds for me, I didn't feel like making a card. I picked up some mini composition books at a Florida office supplies store with the idea in mind to create cutsy little books to jot down notes -- cute enough to leave on a kitchen counter, an office, even the living room...

How cute is that?! I used one of my handmade felt flower to decorate the front as well as a sheet of Sweet Pea DSP, some 1" Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon and leaves punched out of Old Olive cardstock with the Extra Large Two-Step Bird punch from the Occasions Mini Catalogue.

The felt flower is accented with a Chocolate Chip brad from the Sending Love Epoxy kit. The instructions to make the felt flowers can be found on CeeCee's Creations blog here. Have fun experimenting with different types of fabric and incorporate them into your paper crafts. The Bigz dies for the Big Shot offer so many possibilities! I know I'm gonna have tons of fun for the next few days thinking up ways to use felt in my projects.

Have a nice craftin' day!
CeeCee
