handmade gift box

Hi everyone,

Here's a project that was started 2 years ago. I had made this little box to store 3"X3" note cards but the lid was way too large for it. So that little project sat in my craft room for a while, forgotten. While cleaning I stumbled upon it again and decided to revamp the project.

I used another one of my favorite color combo: Kiwi Kiss, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry. Each panel is matted with a piece of monochromatic DSP and I love how it turned out. Plus, the pom-pom trims are one of my favorites and this one was screaming to adorn my box.

On the lid of the box, I made a flower out of white CS that I glimmer-misted with Pashmina and my Flower Daisies #2 die for the Big Shot. I cut several pieces, layered them and curled the edges. In the center, a gorgeous fancy brad from Stampin' Up!

At each corner sits more fancy brads. I think these are a perfect accent for my box. I even managed to do a bit of recycling by using the coffee filter, used as a barrier while glimmer misting, as the tissue paper for my gift inside -- an exact match to the color scheme!

Have a nice stampin' day !!!

This is drop-dead gorgeous, CeeCee! I think I've said that before about at least one of your projects - 'cause I truly love them all. This is just spectacular!
