Quickie Mini Monday -- Pink Christmas Tree

Quickie Mini Mondays feature a 10 minute-or-less project -- something fast, fun and easy to reproduce and mass produce.

Hi everyone,

Here's a quick one for you today. It literally took me 15 minutes to make and I'm quite proud of the fact that I used my stash of retired products.

I wanted to keep the background plain but not without texture so I chose a watercolor paper card base. It's also sturdy enough to accept the weight of the brads.  I've mixed some Pretty in Pink corduroy brads with epoxy brads and I think it breaks the symmetry without jeopardizing the tree structure.

I added a little pink bow with a taffeta ribbon at the base of the tree and stamped a sentiment from Stampin' Up!'s Snow Swirled stamp set in Baja Breeze. When I look at my card, it makes me think of a nice pink fluffly cloud, all soft and sweet :-)

Have nice stampin' day !!

Oooh, I've seen it with buttons but never thought of brads. Great idea.
Reminds me of cotton candy! ;-)
