Two for Tuesday features 2 projects that are similar in either color, theme, layout or embellishment but... with a different twist!
Hi everyone,
Today's Two 4 Tuesday turned into a 2 X 2 kinda deal. I had one goal in mind -- reduced my stash of leftover supplies. Here's what I had at my disposal:
I was able to make 4 cards, using a similar layout but just a few variances:
It might appear to be 2 different papers but it's a double-sided paper so I was able to alternate from one side to the other to vary the look. I also played with the ribbon and CS mats colors.
Same layout, different color scheme... different look and feel.
Other difference: the above was colored with Copic markers and shadowed with black pencil and Gamsol...
... this above colored with Classic Inks and a blender pen, also shadowed with black coloring pencil and Gamsol. I like both looks -- one's more subtle than the other.
Here's the 2nd set of cards varying just the stamped image and the bling in the middle was replaced by pearls.
This one colored with the ink/blender pen technique...
... and the Copics.
Once you come up with a design for a card, it's so easy to do multiple quantities just by playing with the colors, the 2 sides of a paper and even the coloring technique. It's great when you've been asked to do many cards for the same person. Instead of handing out the same card, you can still give something unique without having to work too hard at a sketch.
Have nice stampin' day !!
