Whatever Challenge Wednesday -- InLinkz Challenge #1 Boy Birthday Card

Whatever Challenge Wednesdays features a challenge from the blogosphere, chosen randomly. Here's our pick for this week:

Hi everyone,

Today we're playing with the first ever InLinkz Challenge. I got an email from them at the beginning of the week inviting me to participate and I jumped on this opportunity since I absolutely love the color combo. There is also a boy birthday theme to respect.

The fun thing about this challenge is that you get to vote on your favorite card! I encourage to participate and the instructions for voting are at the end of this post. So, here's our entry:

The inspiration for my card is a patterned paper from The Goods collection by American Crafts which encompassed all of the colors of the challenge. Perfect! The stamp set used is It's A Celebration by PapertreyInk. I've had that set for a while and never used used it!

The focal accent is embossed in clear embossing powder and raised with foam adhesives. The pretty little ribbon is by KiMemories. Everything I've used here is fairly old (in scrapbooking time, hehe) which I'm happy about. I'm on a mission to reduce my hoarded inventory. It kills me to cut into a yummy piece of 12X12 just to make a card, but it can be done folks!

Don't forget to vote.... Have a nice stampin' day! CeeCee

Can't tell you how much I adore this card! I love every detail, and I am in love with polka dots so that background paper is right up my alley!
