this week's two 4 tuesday was inspired by this sketch from Karen Giron:
I took the exact focal image, the same pack of paper, the same sketch but I changed the shape of the card, one regular 4¼ X 5½ and one 5½ round, here they are:
I first stamped my image in versamark on a sahara sand cardstock and embossed it with white EP , then I brought it to life by coloring it with my stampin' write markers and a little touch of white gel pen.
to add some texture I added pieces of ribbon and I also handstiched the card, it's time consumming but I love the effect so much, to me it's worth the extra time.

oh les beaux hiboux! J'aime mieux la carte version ronde, ça met plus en valeur les accents et j'adore tes rubans cousus à la main, ça donne une belle touche de couleur et d'originalité!
love the effect on the owls, very cool!
Gorgeous cards. I sure love that colour combo from the dsp.
